Is people string the new facebook?

When I first heard about People string I was told that it was going to be the new face book with some slight differences. The biggest difference being that you get to share the profits that the website makes. After doing some research I found that indeed you do make a small share of the percentage the company makes each year but to my surprise it is a lot less then I thought I would be making. Keep in mind that face book makes billions of dollars, that's billion with a "B", and people string is still a fairly new company. It sure would be nice if people string was pulling in billion dollar profits every year and sharing it with it's followers but that’s not the case yet. The setup of the website is fairly similar to that of face book and I love the fact that it is easy to navigate, but as for designing a profile page and meeting your friends online it doesn't even come close to face book. People sting seems to be mearly in the business of making money and doesn't have that socially driven feel that face book has. I like that people string shares it's profits and has many ways for you to make money, i.e. recruiting other people to there site, but as for using the site as an alternate to face book I think they have a long way to go. One of my biggest gripes about people string is that the second you sign up to the site people who are complete strangers start to add you to there friends list in the hope of reeling in that sucker to sign up for whatever scheme they have going for that week. There are some good opportunities to get paid on people string however and that is all you should use the site for in my opinion. My favorite way to get paid is to use the mailbox cashbox witch involves a quick survey then you get paid for receiving junk mail that you more than likely already get, so you might as well get paid to get it, right? I also love there email that has gotten national recognition. Have you ever accidentally sent an embarrassing email to the wrong person before? This email client has software built in that will actually let you erase any email that you sent from the recipients file. It’s like you didn’t even send the email. This to me is well worth checking out just to get this email software.
